CALL FOR THE POTENTIAL STUDENTS

I receive a few emails regarding potential supervision for the final year project (degree), master and PhD level.

Although I am currently working in Mathematics Section, School of Distance Education, USM, but I'm open to talents from other school especially School of Mathematical Sciences, USM or any institution. After all, I am available to supervise or co-supervise any potential talents especially enthusiastic and passionate potential candidates. The priority also will be given to the potential talents that are willing to learn the new things.

Currently, I have several projects and research topics that would be suitable for final year student, Master or PhD students in neural network learning algorithms, satisfiability logic programming, metaheuristic algorithms and data mining. Therefore, I am open to supervise or co-supervise any potential candidates that are interested to do research in numerical methods and other related mathematics field.

I do not fund students at the outset unless they are exceptionally good. This means that you can contribute to some industrial application or have a good publication track record.
